We are now looking for a new colleague for our facilities in the area around Arlöv.
About the role
Service technician is a role with a lot of freedom where you get the opportunity to work on a daily basis with developing tasks in service and troubleshooting at our wind turbine plants.
You will be based in our office in Arlöv, but the work will mostly be located at our various wind farms and will be carried out in accordance with RWE's health and safety standards.

About you
To thrive and succeed in the role, we believe that you like to work with problem solving and varied tasks as a new day brings new challenges. If you have experience from the wind power industry, we see it as an advantage, but it is not a requirement.
Applicants should have:
Several years of professional experience in electrical, mechanical or hydraulic technical work
Good ability to analyze and solve problems
Good computer skills regarding Microsoft Office or equivalent
A willingness to "get things done" and a willingness and good ability to work in a group
Good health is needed for work in the turbines, which involves high altitude and climbing
Trips with overnight stays occur, as some of our facilities are further away.
Masters Swedish and English orally and in writing

Furthermore, you are an unpretentious person who is happy to help where needed. The position also includes getting to our various facilities with a service car, hence the requirement for a driver's license-B. The position also includes maintaining order in the service car on a daily basis. Working as a wind turbine technician is physically demanding, so before starting employment, you will complete a health examination.

Vestas Northern and Central Europe is a business unit covering Scandinavia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Poland, Finland, the Baltic States, Germany, Benelux as well as Eastern Europe and the southern part of Africa. Service Nordics is responsible for service and maintenance of our wind turbines in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway. Vestas Northern and Central Europe strives to be the highest performing business unit within Vestas, both in terms of modern energy and customer satisfaction as well as being the most attractive place to work. With these goals in mind, the service technician who takes care of our customers' turbines plays an important role in the frontline of our service agreements. In this role, you will work in an exciting industry in teams with dedicated employees
This service will be part of Service Götaland. You will work in teams of two, where you will cover a large part of southern Sweden together with another specialist team based in northern Svealand. The planning of your work period will be done in close collaboration with the Team Leaders, Planning and Customer Service Team in Malmö

Tasks
Perform service and maintenance on elevators within the framework of our Service Agreements
Preventive maintenance and repair as needed, both mechanical and electrical
Troubleshoot and fix any errors, as well as ensure function
Responsibility for own spare parts warehouse
Documentation of the job performed, according to current protocols
Ensure good cooperation between you and your closest colleague as well as with customers


Qualifications
Experience or education in electrical or mechanical. You are also willing to develop your skills in the areas of
You are meticulous in your work
Good general computer skills
Good oral and written proficiency in both Swedish and English (corporate language)
Previous experience as a service technician or similar work is an advantage
Driver's license B

You enjoy working in a team, communicating with other parts of the organization and you are service-minded
Positive attitude
You are solution-oriented, driven, structured and able to work independently
When working at height, it is required that you have a good body physique

Other information
The position is based in Arlöv, the schedule consists of 12 days of work followed by 9 days off in a rolling schedule. This means that you may be away for up to two weeks at a time as there is service and maintenance throughout southern Sweden.
The service involves travel with overnight stays for various further training as well as assistance in other areas, it can be up to 100 travel days a year. For this position, an understanding of travel for educational purposes and working hours is important.
A requirement for employment is that you are approved for mast and pole certificate, which consists of a load ECG and medical examination, which is carried out during the recruitment process.

Kvalifikationer
Vi söker dig som har:
Erfarenhet eller utbildning inom el eller mekanik. Du är även villig att utveckla dina färdigheter inom områdena
God allmän datorvana
Goda kunskaper i både svenska och engelska (koncernspråk) i tal och skrift
Tidigare erfarenhet som servicetekniker eller liknande arbete är meriterande
Körkort B

Tjänsten innebär resande med övernattningar för olika vidareutbildningar samt assistans i andra områden. För denna tjänst är alltså hög flexibilitet vad det gäller resor och arbetstider ett absolut krav.
